Out of state purchase questions

I found a car! Not 100% what I wanted but I compromised.

It's a 2021 ZLE, I wanted a ZL1 (mostly because of cost) but this one was used and I got the price down way lower than MSRP, so why not.

The dealer is shipping it to Reno because I'm an out of state buyer and paying Cali tax is a non starter for me.

It's got the stock tires, and I want to get some Michelin sport 4s on there before I drive it home(2500 miles). Can anyone recommend a tire shop in that area?

Anything I should be looking out for before I sign away the cashiers check? Never bought an out of state vehicle before.

Thanks!

Congrats! Discount Tire is always a good option. They are basically everywhere.

More specifically, This dealer took this car in on trade and it's a CPO now so it has the nice warranty. They are saying California is slow to return title and that's holding up my loan.

Anyone run into this before?

Thanks!
When buying a car, unlike buying other things, sales tax is usually charged at the rate where the car is registered. NH is probably this way too?

I bought my LT1 from a dealer in Monterey, CA. If New Hampshire charges less taxes, you’ll get a refund from your dmv after it’s registered. That’s what i experienced in Utah. Also, I’d heavily reconsider driving across I80 in the winter, or at least wait til the storms we’re getting in the west are gone.

Highly recommend AirRyd for vehicle transportation if you’re looking around.
