Will A Starter Wrap Make Heat Problem Worst?
I was talking to someone that works at powermaster and he said if your starter is having heat soak problems then wrapping it with thermal tape will make it worst. Then I looked online and people said it acts like a kindling effect. It may take longer to get heat soaked but when it does it will take much longer to cool off. You guys agree?
Also what about a a heat sleeve around the starter (attached by metal zip ties not tape) will this cause the same problem as as heat tape?
