The 2LS is what I wanted. I really like the retro stereo, the wheels and the pin stripe upholstery better than the LTs. However there are some things i dislike, the plastic steering wheel gets on my nerves and the lack of a USB port is annoying. But I still would choose the LS if I had to do it all over again. A v8 was not a consideration for me. I used to have a z28 and it was just too much car for the traffic and congestion around here. Even a v6 is overkill for my area.

Believe it or not some of us never considered anything but the V6.
I have seen more crap talking on here about the V6 than I ever have heard in the real world..
In the 6 years of owning 2 V6 5th gens I have only heard 3 times anyone make a negative comment about it.
If you have a Camaro you are ok by me, does not matter what is under the hood.

No, the base model was not what I really wanted, this is my first Camaro & it wont be the last one, but for now I plan to upgrade/mod & enjoy it for a couple of years, I'm happy with it, ya I know what are you gonna say.
Now why I didn't get a V8 ? This is my DD, I don't race so I'm not gonna buy something I don't need just to please some people, feel accepted by others or to come to this forum & brag about it.

Yeah, that's what it's all about. We all have Camaros whether 6cyl or 8. The funny thing is most people with 5th gens like mine, the V6's, aren't even looking when I drive next to them. I mean, come on. If you buy a Camaro, shouldn't you be just slightly aware of another Camaro just like yours (same color and model) driving next to you or sitting next to you at a light? They just look straight ahead oblivious. Sheesh! lol!
