And I thought its something not right when I have 1100 for almost a 2 months. Will you accept me in a "waiting ages for my Camaro" club?

I ordered with the expectaion I'd get delivery in very late winter or early spring, like ~Mar I'm still just surprised it's been mainly ZL1 constraints and not an allocation per se

It's not when you ordered your car. It's all about when your dealer will get an allocation from GM to start the build process. We'll see who's car gets accepted by GM first...lol. Hang in there man. I just had to let it go and say it will come in this spring sometime.

My dealer told me I would most likely see it come in late December. Here we are December 1 and still at 1100. My original hang up was and still is the 2SS and the PDR option. 2SS orders received a 20% build from zero last week but all cars with the PDR option remain at zero allocations.

You might have a better chance if you cancel the PDR and get a good quality GoPro.

So, one doesnt need a PHD in business or whatever to conclude that a V6 in a Camaro has no chance of happening anytime like....ever, maybe? Ive tried to sell myself on the 2.0 Turbo but cant pull the trigger. Then, it still appears that the ordering process itself and delivery timeframes are all over the place & quite screwey. Even if you do order a 2.0T which are not on constraint, its still quite vague when you'll actually get it. Going by what members here are going through its hard to feel good about it.

I give ya'll credit for sticking this out. If the Camaro is the only car that will "do it" for you, I understand. My interest level has been fading rapidly and quite frankly Ive ordered something else(different make/model) in the meantime that I do NOT have to take but at least it will be here in my desired time frame(March 2022 is a reliable estimate) and the ordering process was painless. At this stage, Im going to just wait until spring 2022 and "See whats out there" or what local dealers end up with. If its meant to be, then Ill find a Camaro on a lot or through a cancelled order that I can still possibly buy. But, I personally cant "do" this anymore meaning trying to order a car the way I really want it. Its a Camaro, not a one-off Limited edition Ferrari or something. Way too hard for what it is. Good luck with your orders! . Who knows.... I could still end up with one.....

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong. I ordered thinking I will be able to save up for a down payment, lol. I am ok with waiting. Just the fact that the order is not accepted feels odd. But, I see that it is normal, so I will just check status everyday online
It was kind of funny (or it is after 2 months) that the next day after I placed an order, I read that Rapid Blue, Dual Exhaust, and something more is not available

Well, I have Dodge 392 already, so what else I could get? A Ford? Seriously?

No - I dont do Fords. I hear ya. As for what else to get, people ordering the Camaro with the more "sporty" concept in mind versus straight out muscle do have quite a few other options. Meaning, coupes with smaller engines that are fun to drive, plenty powerful, trackable, etc and capable of doing anything you'd do with a similarly-equipped Camaro. Same general price range too.

That being said, if you are doing the thumping V8 thing then your options become much more limited. So, you have the Dodge already. Camaro is the only car thats really like that outside of the Mustang which is a no go. .

What did you order if you don't mind sharing?

A small number of V6 engines are available on todays allocation report. Some ZL1, ZL1w/A1Z, 2SS and 3LT trims available this week as well.

Unfortunately, UQT PDR is zero availability this week.

Does it say which dealerships get allocations?

i originally had an order in for a 22 and my lack of patience won out and I bought a Supra. 9 months later the car is still worth what I paid and I still want a Camaro.
I'm going to dealer tuesday to order.
They haven't seen an allocaton in 4 months so is either really bad news or means theyre due for one.
