That's good news. I checked again on October 22nd and still at 3000 status for at least a month and a half.

Anyone know how long it takes to ship (to Canada) after your car has been produced?

They told me 6-8 weeks (from production) but with the everything going on I think its anyone's guess. I think there is one guy with a ZL1 that took 6 weeks from order to delivery on here but don't quote me

Wow that’s a while. Kind of annoying to get delivery in the winter months. Might as well wait till March at that point.

Under normal times I would agree but with all the delays, I just want mine built and here at this point.

Been at 3400 status for 3 weeks now with a TWP 10/18. Dealer checked today and still not built and at 3400. Can't see it getting here before we are full on winter.

Dealer told me if it's too late. It may not ship until spring. Not sure if thats true. Does anyone know if they ship these ZL1s during winter months to the frozen North?

The dealer may possibly be correct. The temperature being too cold can destroy the tires. I know a guy who purchased a ZLE and it was delivered to Buffalo. The transporter had to stop due to a severe winter storm. They had to shut the interstate down. When the car arrived at the dealer it was like an ice ball. Literally.
The tires had severe cracks and were warrantied. Now keep in mind these are the Supecar 3R tires but still the ZL1 tires are Supercar 3s and are not recommended for cold weather driving.
But keep your hopes up. My cars TPW was April 15 in 2019. The car arrived at the dealer on April 22nd. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have a VIN and the car is built. I’m hoping it is for your sake. You’ll want to get some drives in before it goes away for winter. Trust me the car is incredible especially at the price.

Question for Canadian ZL1 1LE owners who ordered their cars new. How long did it take from your order being accepted by the factory to actually receiving your vehicle?

I don't believe my order has been accepted yet - just curious.

Thanks. Yeah thats what I'm afraid of with the tires. If it doesn't ship, that sucks, cause it's likely going to be sitting outside all winter instead of in my garage with a cover on it lol. The cold weather and snow will hit any day here now in Alberta. Some years we've had full on winter by now.

Yeah I hear ya. It’s gotta be waiting on a part. But I doubt they would let it sit outside and let the tires crack. Just can’t see that but I could be wrong. Maybe try the Chat on GM customer service. That’s how I found out mine was at 3400. Hope it works out for you

Unfortunately not. The dealership said to touch base around mid-December and we should have an ETA.

Do you have an order code or number? I think it’s six letters/numbers mix. And did your dealer provide you proof of them having an Allocation for a ZL1 1LE by chance? That’s what’s important to start is that Allocation.
