IT's HERE! I drive it home tomorrow since I'm having it re-mapped for the increased air breather (475HP) and SS-1LE wheels put on it. (I'm keeping the stock ones too)

More to come...

Please explain what the re-mapping is. Is that for the GM cold air intake?

That’s my guess since that’s the only tuning GM will do is for their intake.

Yes....Yesterday was the first I've heard of this too. I'm having the GM cold air intake installed and they said they have to re-map the fuel mixture to compensate. These together with dual mode exhaust is estimated to add 20 HP. The re-mapping comes from GM Detroit, and the dealer has to upload the results to "prove" that it's done right so the factory warranty remains solid. Sounds a lot like getting pipes and breather on a Harley, for those that are familiar.

I’m down in the ‘Springs. Ordered mine thru BeckyD and had it delivered via Ed Bozarth. Local dealers were a bit .

Once built, shipping is the hardest part.

I've got the GMPP CAI and the tune. The power wasn't noticeable...if there is any power added. It's just an intake. I bought it for underhood bling. For that it does a good job.

I don’t know what it is but it does not work at all. The motor is shaking and it feels like you lost 200hp. I think the ECU is programmed differently to the EU specs. On the other hand Mishimoto or K&N work just fine.

I installed mine and had the dealer do the tune. No noticeable change in power but it does sound better. I didn't think GM claimed it had any more power, just remapped for emissions.

Hmm....more smoke from my dealer then.....

They said the open exhaust (dual mode set on Sport or Track) together with increased air netted about 15-20HP. Seemed like a lot to me too. I do know doing this on several Harley's I've owned, does net a HP increase.

Oh well......LOVE THIS CAR.....(and it's sound). Also....SO glad I got the 6M
