Magnetic ride

"Still deciding on whether to get Magnetic Ride Control or not"

I can answer that for you . After driving the car for the last two days , Definitely go with the magnetic ride . It goes hand in hand with My Jekle and Hide moods . When I want quiet and smooth it fits, when I feel the Need For Speed I flick a switch. Chevy has really made a sweet car . In the dash it even has a stealth mode ! Do the dual note exhaust also . I only wish I could have ordered it with the LT4 .90 miles and counting Bob

I am seriously considering buying one of these. I love love love the photos of this car. I have contacted a dealer that has 2 of them. I haven’t seen one in person yet but when I do I am afraid it will be too much to pass up. I’m not a huge fan of the Hotwheels logos everywhere but everything else is just gorgeous imo.

Don’t open the door the inside is better than the outside

You will buy it if you see it in person...and remember, most of the badging is 3M tape you can take off...there's some inside the car you can't remove...but it is a very bad ass looking car...

That is what I figured it was. I am still in discussions with 2 dealers right now. I think we may have something worked out with one but not 💯% sure. I haven’t even seen one outside of pictures but the pictures are enough I believe.

Two Hot Sisters! LOL
Mine was built on 3/12.
Last I hear (on Friday), that it was in North Platte, Nebraska. ETA is still Thursday, 4/19!

Hopefully the train is running on time!

Still deciding on whether to get Magnetic Ride Control or not. Definitely getting the performance exhaust. It sounds very aggressive. I like the tone. For $895, you can't go wrong there and I have a Borla Atak on my '11, so I don't want to duplicate that sound anyhow.

Also, I plan to get the vert. My wife is trying to talk me into an automatic vs manual, because at the car show she was excited that she could actually see out of the car. We'll see today as we take two '18's for test drives.

I'm not sure I can give up my stick. I am very fearful that I will regret it.

Really excited!
Sorry have been busy and missed this the other day! I did not get MRC on our FIFTY and while do not know what it is like, regret not making sure to have it. However did get it on the Hot Wheels 50. As for your wife, have her go to a performance driving class and have one of the instructors teach her how to drive a manual transmission...most of the angst of learning is having your spouse critic you, and that puts both parties in an uncomfortable spot.

Also, I have osteoarthritis in my knees (which can be an issue for people to have a manual). Personally find that the movement of having to press the clutch in actually helps with the circulation. Although, I also do pay for it in the evening with my leg hurting more than normal if did a lot of hours/miles (but if driving the auto it is stiff whenever I get out as it was not being moved enough). But still it is great fun and I have an automatic truck for a daily, so am able to rest the knees a little during the week

1:18 diecast of 2018 hot wheels camaro ?

While I'm awaiting my 2SS hot wheels camaro (TPW May 7) I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to try and find a 1:18 diecast model of one.

I would think this would be a popular model to complement the much more basic "hot wheels" toy version of the car (I've already got a few of those lol).

Has anyone seen a 1:18 diecast model being available yet ?

Thanks !

They havent done one yet, and there's no guarantee that it will happen. I have a couple of the Hot Wheels size ones already.

I know this thread is for the 50th Hot Wheels...but for the sake of the Indy 500 cars... I figured I'd showcase the 2013 Indy 500 cars...which coincidentally, were also Hot Wheels Camaros

Thanks! I did go with the Magnetic Ride Control. I figured I would regret it if I didn't. I did the performance exhaust also. Only two options, aside from the Hot Wheels Edition package. Just got my order code. Can't wait!

Good choice. Consider getting the GM CAI also when it comes in. I think it improves the sound of the NPP, especially with the fuse pulled.
