This MOD, in Spain are € 11k in parts, import fees and shipping costs, plus labor, between € 2k and € 3k.
Half the value of the Camaro, NO, but 1/3, is cost sure.
But the biggest problem is the homologation, (legalizing them), here the European regulations in this regard are very expensive, they require a modification and certification project by an engineer, that cost is very large for us about € 1k, but the worst is the time and the bureaucracy.
Basically the cost would amount to about € 15k, around $ 16,500.
I have it clear, because it is a MOD that I have in mind for the future.
How much has it cost you? If you don't mind sharing it.

Agreed.. al this new regulations about noise and air pollution in Europe are ridiculous.. I’m from eastern europe (Romania) moved to US 6 years ago and couple years ago I tried to import 2 muscle cars in my former country and Germany but the paperwork and the amount of money I would’ve had to pay just to get them there (not shipping) was ridiculous..
The blower $1500 and $2.3k in the supporting parts for the complete swap. Can’t beat that

I meant to post this on Monday, but early last week I completed a trade for my 50th for a 2017 Audi A7 Comp with 13k miles. (MSRP $85k)

My commute is essentially doubling in mileage, but probably tripling in time, and as much as I loved it, it's not the best commuter car. Plus I'd been driving my wife's Audi more, and then she got a fully loaded A6 for a loaner for a weekend. I had been on the fence about keeping or trading it in, but that weekend sold it.

I hope you do very well with your nurvo Audi.
From my humble opinion, I prefer the A5 or the A8, but the design of the A7 is as it is restyling of the 2019 camaro, they have lost the pencil with the design.
That is just my opinion.
It is also curious to see how in the USA you buy differentiation with a European vehicle and in Europe We seek the exclusivity of the United States vehicle.
By the way, how is that A7 quoted in the USA? If you don't mind sharing it.

Earlier today I took part in the coolest event I’ve been involved in in a long time. One of the members of our Camaro Club (Angelo) contracted Covid-19 and spent several weeks in the hospital. He came home a few days ago. One of our board members thought it might be a good idea to surprise him and let him know how much his club cares for him.

So we met in a high school parking lot about a mile and a half from his home. There were 29 Camaros and a Silverado (his Camaro was out being painted). And a police escort. The organizer had already planned to visit him, so that made that part easy. Then he and Angelo’s wife got him to come outside to see his parade.

Some of the members of our club came from the far west side of Michigan (about 3 hours), Lansing (about 100 miles) and Toledo, Ohio (about an hour) to take part in this showing of support for one of our favorite members.
