8L45 or 8L90?
I just got my 6th gen today so I know very little about them. What's the difference between these two automatic transmissions and how can I tell which one I have? I'll run the VIN if need be but was hoping to learn something here.
Thanks in advance

You have neither...! 2016-2018 SS cars got the 8L90 which could handle more torque than the 8L45 version. 2019 SS cars got the new 10L80, so 10 speeds instead of 8 but with a lower rated torque capacity than the 8L90.
