SS wheel

Will the OEM 5th gen SS "FRONT" wheel (20"x 8") clear the caliper on the rear axle of my 15' SS 1LE ?

I have a chance to buy this size & was wanting a permanent spare in my trunk for road trips.

Thanks !

Offset is different. Front wheel won’t clear rear brembos

Thanks for that info.

Would a "rear" OEM SS 20"x 9" wheel clear the brembos if mounted on the FRONT axle ?

YES....in fact their have been many people (me included) that did that very thing and ran a "SQUARED" set-up using 4 20 x 9 with 275/40's on all 4 corners.

Thank You for this info. I was going to buy a 20"x 8" for a spare but will now look for a 20"x 9".

Humn, what am I missing? My 20x8 fits fine, on rear, of my SS as a spare. Must be a 1LE thing.

I have not..and upon researching it more I don’t find where offset will affect anything other than looks. I can’t find where anyone has run 8.5 wheels on the rear.

Thanks for the reply. I was just trying to confirm that the 20x 8 wheel will work on all 4 corners, since I will be only using it for a spare tire in the trunk.

Because I have a 1LE. My wheels are 20x 10 on the front & 20x 11 on the rear.
