Yea I’m gonna have to decide on upgrading injectors or just going with PI kit. Or tame it down a bit and leave it for now. Decisions lol

Thanks King!

Does the window change from stock lt1 injectors to the +30.s ? I've heard mixed things on it. I've heard that 6.5 MS is ok?

You think it will lose much power by blending and getting the MS under 6.0? I thought about dropping psi from 12 to 10 but don't really want to do that. Don't want to run meth either.
No the injection timing doesn't change regardless of injector. Valve events have more impact on injection timing and a bigger cam will allow higher pulsewidth's but 6.5 isn't safe... it's spraying just outside the injection window and likely making the AFR look richer than what it actually is in the cylinder. A cam car I might let hover around 6.2 when it's cooler out but 6.5 in the middle of summer is going to go much higher when it cools down.

I think I have said this 100 times now but There is very little gain above E60 for most setups. When you start pushing 1200+ whp then we can start to make a case for needing 110 octane for a 10:1 compression engine on boost.

Ok thanks for the thorough explanation.

Sounds like I’m either gonna have to decide to blend or drop from 12psi to 10psi, maybe that would be enough to get the MS back in check

Aside from Injector MS, what are your fuel pressures doing? Are you sure the injectors are at the limit or is fuel pressure dropping?

Injectors are only at 36%. It’s the HPFP psi goes from 2400psi to 2150psi from 6200 rpm and up.

35% is max on duty cycle for DI...it's not like PI where 80% is common.

Ah ok good to know.

I put a few gallons of 93 in and got it down to e63. I did a quick pull and got to 6.1MS but my afr changed. It was only 73* outside compared to the 90’s we have had so I actually gained 1psi of boost. He’s gonna make some more tweaks but sounds like E60 might be enough for now.

Thanks JP

So I put a 3.9 pulley on and put e70 in it, got lamda at .82-.83 MS was 5.7. I put pump e85 back in (81% lately) and ms went up 5.9. I was seeing 12.8psi and now down to 10.5. Just updating.

Thanks for the advice guys. Now to figure out the tq tables hahaaa

Hey man how much power are you seeing with 10.5 psi? Just wondering since i'm about to order mine now. Was thinking a 3.7-3.9 size

With 10-10.5psi on sbe I was at 614whp. On e30. Stock lower with 3.9” upper.

With forged internals and btr cam ect. I was at 790’s at 10.5psi. Current setup 8.25 lower and 3.7” upper (14 psi) on e70 was just under 900 whp.
