Opinion on stripes

I have a 2013 SS convertible. Inferno Orange with black stripes. I’m interested in freshening up the look. I really, really like the striping on the 2010 Hurst Edition. Would it be corny to copy those stripes onto my 2013 non-Hurst? I’m also open to some ideas on cool stripes / partial wrap ideas.

Thanks,Vince

It's not corny to make your car the way you like it, as long as you aren't trying to convince yourself or anyone else it's something that it's not!

Make it your own! Everyone has their own idea what looks good or is cool, that's what makes the car hobby fun! If we all liked the same thing this would be the silver Camry forum.........

Here ya go. I have these on my RJT Camaro. We had to custom cut them for the big cowl hood I have to make them fit and lay correctly. They are for the stock hood, and trunk lid. I recently took the trunk ones off as I installed a CF spoiler, and the stripes didn't go with it at all, but still have the hood ones on.

Orange is hard. Either black or white if you want to stay low key. Bright purple or yellow if you want to be flashy. I really like those strips on the blue car, I don’t think they would work with silver but on that blue they rock. That may be a good one for the orange, it’s different and looks good.

The red car above is the same idea just a different stripe style, it looks killer on that red!

Thanks. Like I said, my stripe is the exact ones on the blue car, but we had to "trim cut" them and move them a bit back to lay correctly on my big cowl hood I have. As pictured on the blue car, we couldn't get them to lay properly because they were made for the stock hood, so we trimmed off the outline part, moved them over closer to each other and back towards the windshield to get a good layout. Turned out great. I get a lot of folks at the shows actually think they are airbrushed on, until I tell them they are vinyl, then they flip out!! lol.
