Just finished build and dyno…..

We just finished my build. Build is as follows: CSP long tubes, mid pipe no cats, awe touring exhaust. K&N air intake, 95 mm TB, flex sensor, stage 2 BTR cam, stock heads, Katech oil pump, comp cams limiter, c5r chain, tcm unlock and tune, jms voltage booster, 10% lower with ATI, and all cam supporting mods. On 93 car did 630 tire, on E55 car did 690 tire. Over all I am pretty happy with the results. I am only making 10- 10 1/2 pounds of peek boost. Would you guys suggest going to a 15% lower and running a lower blend of E for some more boost and power? My next step is either race port stock 1.7 with 103 or a 2650. Give me some feedback please.

Those are decent numbers. I would recommend spending a good amount of time driving it and see how well it does with heat especially in the hot summer. it's been 90*F+ near me lately. It's the perfect time to run it hard and see how well it holds.

I've had this thing on the ragged edge and I honestly think that 600-700hp at the wheels is pretty much the most you can get away with and have the car still be manageable. More power is great but it's terribly difficult to put it to the ground.

sounds like a healthy build... would love to hear some clips of the idle!

On the dyno he didn’t give it a ton of cool down time. He likes to dyno them like they are actually on the street. With that cam and long tubes I am still at stock boost levels….. just a lot more power and efficiency. He said with a long cool down we could have gotten another 10-15 at the tire for a glory pull. Let’s see how she does in the next few weeks. I also have a weld full drag pack if I need it for more traction. The 555R2s are doing a pretty good job currently on low pressure.

I'm partial but 2650 Maggie all the way. Lower IAT's more power in reserve, just go big and kick some ass.

How the hell is my tire HP higher from just adding the 2650 compared to all the mods he just did? Does the 2650 make that much of a difference compared to a cam and long tubes? Don’t mean to derail your thread, just confused as to why people just don’t go straight to the 2650 first and than other smaller mods later….

Probably because he is stock boost. How much boost are you running?

I am also still at 10 pounds of boost. The motor is very efficient with this setup. I wanted to fix some reliability issues first as I did a few mods along the way. The oil pump, timing chain guid I changed to the LME wishbone, the lifters and trunion upgrade. It is now setup for the last step in HP mods. My setup with 2650 and aux pump on E50-60 should be around 850-875. That’s my plan. That’s why I decided to go this route.

If you just swap the stock blower for a 2650 and basic bolt ons, headers, TB, intake etc its probably making 15-16lbs of boost with the stock 90mm pulley. Hes only making 10, another 5lbs of boost is probably good for 75-90 whp or so.

I put the 2650 on my car, headers, intake, 103TB and it made 680whp.

Yup. One of our cars is just that, minus LTs, and we're seeing 15-16psi. That all make sense.

And nice numbers! Video or it didn't happen!

Ditto! Looking at similar build to this. And will probably be going straight to a 2650.

Next is 2650, eddy or maggie. Stockish boost on a 2650 will be amazing with what you have

All besides the 2650 is bone stock down to the air filter.
