1/23 $99 OnGrid Thunderhill East reverse!

I’m going. At only $99, it’s a steal!

Who else is signed up?! I think there’s at least 3 of us so far! Should be fun!

Saw your post on the other thread. I signed up for group 2.
I’m still undecided on whether I want to leave the day off or the previous night. Driving up from the South Bay

I'm coming up with a buddy (drives a Miata) from Sacramento the morning of. Running Group 3 so we can drive together. There's at least one other camaro6 member going. Should be a blast!

Was nice meeting you guys - had an awesome time!
I was thinking about it at the end of the day - what tire pressures were you guys running?
This being my first with this car, I just ran it as is since I had no baseline

It was great meeting you Reddy (sp?) and Rich! Had a great time even though I cut it short swapping cars with my buddy did his miata!

I was running 28-29 cold and shooting for 33-34 hot.

You got the spelling right!
Also that is interesting, my pressures were considerably higher ~40 hot. Did you find a noticeable difference when you dropped tire pressures?
Here is a run from the second session I pulled from the PDR

Nice job Reddy! Well, I’ve never run hotter than 38 but even at that temp, I lost traction.

The GM performance manual gives a 35-37 hot target range but I think most have better experience in the 33-34 range.

I wonder what Rich temps were. He had a phenomenal 2:03 lap! Clearly, he is more daring in those high speed 6/7/8 corners

Nice! Yeah I was running 34 hot and seemed pretty good. I definitely need more camber and a square tire setup because the car was understeering through the turns pretty bad, but I was pushing her pretty hard lol.

Nice meeting you guys. I cant make Thill this weekend but I will be going to Laguna Sunday!

Nice will try dropping tire pressures the next time I get out.
T5 is sort of a leap of faith (keep in mind you're seeing a lot more on the camera compared to what you see sitting in the car)

And holy shit Rich! A 2:03 lap sounds insane! Would love to see your lap and learn from it.
