+1. I would think dropping in a green filter in the stock box would gain close to the same.

How much do you think that offsets the gains ?

Its a shame Fraxam didn't fill up a 5 gallon jug of e85 and bring it with him, it would have been great to see those results.

GM hit it out of the park with this car it seems.
Given e85 is showing ~25 rwhp over 93 tune this would be a 480-490 rwhp car with bolt ons. Insane. Not much less than my g6x3 heads cam ls3. And this would be a faster car. I've seen heads/cam stingrays up to 550 rwhp

I think FBO e85 and converter will hit 10s for sure near full weight. Probably get close on stock converter even. If you added 60-70 rwhp to your 11.6 run you be damn close on stock converter

Great information, thanks!

One big question: was this all on the stock ECU tune, or was each hardware combo tuned?

Any cam timing/injection timing optimization with the addition of the MSD intake?

Thanks for posting the results

All of the aftermarket testing was tuned.

I tested cam timing in both directions and in all cases made less power than the stock cam timing map.

Ted.

Sounds like GM nailed the equipment and calibration down on this car.

Ted, do you think there is any power changing out the stock cat back with the 1 7/8 headers. The cat backs for these cars aren't cheap so just wondering if you've seen or tested anything

I'm a little curious how much more there is on the table if one went catless headers, and catback exhaust.

Ted, how is delta gains calculated?

Also I don't get my stock dyno # since your dyno is nicknamed the "Heartbreaker". Seems way too high.

See you tomorrow.

But hey everybody support Ted for how he gives us the real skinny. No BS. That is part of the reason why I did this. And to keep up with a certain Mustang....
