TCM tuning and failure?

recently had my TCM tuned and after about 500 miles a solenoid has went out and after further investigation, we have found a lot of bad fluid and some metal pieces. as far as i am aware they never swapped the trans fluid or filter to new (which i think was a GM recall?) so pretty much its looking like the transmission is a bust.
is the tcm tune liable for damages? is GM? car just went over 60k :(

There is a TSB for transmission fluid flush on transmissions that exhibit the shudder problem but that wasn't a recall. The 2016 Camaro came with a 5 yr/60,000 mile powertrain warranty. Even if it was within the mileage the TCM tune would invalidate the warranty if GM found it. It looks like you're on your own unless the TCM tuner will accept some responsibility for the failure or you can prove they caused the failure.
