Intake for turbo 408

Long story short on the dyno yesterday hit 814 with the stock intake and stock Throttle body. Only at 14lbs of boost started to lean on it and it just would make any more power at 16lbs I lost 15 hp. gotta be that intake and TB my turbo will go 25lbs. So that eliminates almost all the plastic intakes most of the sheet metal ones are China crap. The BTR cast intake looks pretty nice just wanted to see if anyone has any advice? Thanks Tommy

The factory intake an TB are good for 1KHP.. What injectors, fuel and fuel system do you have?

Made 750 on 93 put e85 jumped to 815 then started losing power as we added boost tuner blamed the intake so I stopped starting to think he’s a Dumbass this isn’t a throw together build should have went to 1000 easy I did have some self inflicted issues coulple of the coil packs gave up but I had an extra set with me so I got past that, plugs were a little cold but really nothing crazy

If the trans was slipping, 815 was probably was the limit it could hold, anything over that you wouldn't be able to measure.

Sorry guys all this is kinda new is not locking up the converter normal on the dyno ? With a turbo you would think to build boost faster you would want to get it locked up?

Which shop? About the only shops in Ohio I'd recommend in Ohio is rdp and big 3 racing.

If the converter is too loose you will blow through it on the dyno causing lower hp. If its a triple disc converter, lock it and power will increase
