Road trip = A+

Driving a 17 SS. Just drove from Baltimore to Detroit to chicago and then back. I honestly can't even explain how comfortable the car was. I've not done anything with the TC tsb but will soon as it surfaced in a big way. That aside, this is the most comfortable car I've ever sat in for 20+ hours.

Except for the low profile run flat tires, I agree it's a pretty comfortable ride. I'd say even a tad better than my 2016 Mustang

My only complaint is how the seats don't recline. I'll have to drill them out if I ever decide to make the trip back home with it (1600 miles round trip).

In a few weeks I’m taking the ZL1 from NW WI to Northern IN. Last year the SS seats were WAAAAY better than a 19 Highlander I rented Fromm DC. My ass was so numb after 9hrs I probably wouldn’t have been able to feel a 12G 7.5oz bird shot.

Wife asked if I wanted to take her 19 Highlander rather than put miles on the Z. “Oh hell no!”

I could recline mine plenty. I think you’re doing it wrong.

I read somewhere that the reduced recline travel was fixed in model year 2019 and on.

OK so mlee says my car reclines decent? The wife was pretty gone the other night & had her seat pretty far back. Wasn’t really paying attention as I was driving trying to pay attention to the road, but she was doing her best to be a distraction.

I took mine on a two week road trip through Europe last year.

From Sweden, through Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and back. A little over 3700 km (2300 miles).

The drive was great. I didn't feel any discomfort or fatigue.

I was also very surprised about a reasonable 10,1 L/100km (~23 mpg) avg. fuel economy over the entire course of the trip. Considering some quite spirited driving through mountain passes and some full throttle runs on the autobahn, I was very impressed.

This summer I had a business trip to Florida, a round trip of 2,200 mi. I drove each way non stop, driving 14 hrs straight. My ZL1 was very comfortable the whole trip and made it easy.

I didn't remember how comfortable my trip was, but I do remember how fun it was to drive around the twisties, and how good the exhaust sounds in tunnels.

Sent from toaster or something

I drove my 2016 Camaro SS from South Louisiana to as far north as Little Big Horn. A 4,000+ mile excursion. My ZL1 has been on trips to Fredericksburg, TX (Fleet Admiral Nimitz / Museum of the Pacific); to Bentonville, AR (Museum of the Americas); to Lake of the Ozarks and over to St. Louis (Cardinals' game) and to CamaroFest.

These cars travel well. I am teeing up a trip to Gettysburg in a few weeks.

Gettysburg is really awesome. Went with the oldest on a class trip. Other cool part of the trip was visiting Washington’s estate.
