Wheel/tire rack

Bought my first house. Got a garage like I've wanted. 2car but I still need more room. I have a few sets of wheels and tires. I dont want to stack them and take up floor space. Curious to know what wall mount solutions y'all are using. Thanks!

I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/HyLoft-01000-.../dp/B0016SOF7Y

TireRack has one as well: https://www.tirerack.com/accessories/detail.jsp?ID=164

There are a lot of brands of that style rack. All roughly the same price.

Mine is mounted roughly roof height, and is pretty much out of the way. But putting mounted tires up there is a bit of a hassle. Not exactly light if you know what I mean.

Having said that, you mention a "few sets". So you would likely need a multishelf rack.

I have the Tire Rack system. Works great. Put a 1x4 between the lower pads and the drywall or the weight will punch through. Ask me how I know.

Ha That was my first thought when I was installing it and used a 1x4 without a second thought.
