Hey everyone !! noticed a crack on the front windshield today . It's so random . Didn't hit anything nor did anything drop on it . I was with the car the whole time and all of a sudden notice this huge crack almost looks like a scratch running down the middle of windshield . I can't feel the crack from outside or inside when I run my fingers over it .but its almost right above the defrost vents running horizontally across the width of the windshield. I still have bumper to bumper warranty on the vehicle but don't have full coverage insurance since the car is paid off . This is a 2015 v6 . 1lt .. pls advise or if anyone has one they know of I would like to purchase. thanks so much in advance everyone . I really appreciate it .

This is one of the weirdest requests I've ever seen. Open google on your browser. Type in auto glass. Find one with good reviews on Yelp. Get it done. Way faster and better than using used glass. The cost will not be much different.

I've had several windshields replaced and already broke the Camaro windshield. I commute like a mofo. I reccomend finding a privately owned company that is respectful and accountable for their actions. My local guy is wonderful to work with and always has a great deal.

If you have glass coverage on your policy your insurance will cover it too.

In Florida insurance will cover a windshield replacement without paying the deductible but.....it counts against you as a claim! Old saying nothing is free.

Really doubt you are going to find used windshield for sale. 99% of people who replace one do so because theirs is broken, cracked or severely pitted. The 1% who swap out good one for a new one do so for reasons such as adding a HUD; you could get lucky, but I wouldn't count on finding that 1%...of course it never hurts to ask

Mine broke out of nowhere as well .
Could have been a hidden small bullseye by the window wiper..one day washing it The crack grew across the windshield.. you can get aftermarket windshield for the 5th gen Camaro for about 150 ..just be patient on your searching and check their reviews.

Call your local junkyards.
Many of them will do the install.

I would not try to install it myself. Very easy to break the new one trying to install it. Have a pro do the job.
