Traded in the Camaro
My head gasket developed a leak and it would be 2k to fix. I got 10.9k for my Camaro on a trade towards a fully loaded 2016 Z71 Colorado. My out the door price was 20.2k. Not too bad. I hope you get the issue fixed? It has been fun, and I will miss my Camaro and getting information from you all. Still sad that a car that is 6 years old had so many failures, but so many great times!

I do not blame you at all. Everyone has their reasons. However i believe you will be very happy with your newest choice. Picked up the gmc version not long ago. Said i would leave it stock, soo much for that...

Here are some pictures. It is fully loaded weather trim mats, rock n lock bed cover, bed liner, side steps, and bose sound system. It used with 5k miles. The guy that traded it in couldn't pull it behind his new motor home. I know it sounds backwards but I know him personally. He got a spark for it ...

I got the quote at two independent mechanics, and a dealer. I had to replace water pump, thermostat housing, and several other hoses. The coolant was leaking from the head gasket into the transmission. I already spent almost 700 dollars and it still wasn't right. I wasn't going to spend 2k to fix an issue for an engine that is known to have many failures without any warranty.
I still love and appreciate the good times with my camaro. My colorado is only 1.3 seconds slower on the 0-60 then my v6 Camaro . I was interested in v8 Gen 5 2015 Camaro's with a warranty with under 30k or less miles, but there were no good deals to be made. So i just went back to what I always had before my sports car a reliable truck. Still shocked I got 10.9k for my Carmaro when I bought it for 23k. |

the older 5th gens seem to hold value pretty well,i only spent 2k or so more to get a 2015 with 8,000 miles on it than it would have cost for a 2012-13 with 50,000 on it.the warrantee was not good on the other items?

That's a beautiful truck I'm loving the tires. What's something like that cost a month?

I got it down to 29,500, and traded my Camaro for 10,900. With all the taxes, fees, tag transfer, and I only financed 20,200. My payments are 350ish a month. It is used with 5,000 miles so someone else took the original depreciation hit. The Colorado Z71 usually start around 37,000 before any specials, rebates, or money off.

nice truck. I just bought a 2017 Silverado 1500 LT Z71. Couldn't resist the November tag sale. Paid $34,000 on a $47,000 truck.
