Rear differential
What upgrades did y’all do for your rear differential to handle 600 + hp with no sweat?

I’m thinking most will say upgrade to a ZL1 diff and or whole cradle. But I’m not the resident expert.

The whole cradle would be nice, depending on the condition/miles of all the other
parts. |

Agreed, the ZL1 setup would be ideal, however, if budget is an issue, a TruTrac would be a good upgrade over the stock differential.

People were doing all kinds of voodoo to make the 10 bolt last when these things first came out, but if you're not going ZL and need extra strength, put in the TruTrac carrier. Then you can just buy axles.
I don't think the rest of the internal mods merit the cost.

Now that's a realist, modder attitude! You have to be willing to accept all outcomes. (and it doesn't hurt to be well funded either)

You cannot put 3.91 gears in a ZL1 differential.
Fixing the wheelhop will give a longer life to your axles and diff.
