Do you have any contacts in the states to check out a car for you?
My area just doesn’t have that many available, I would do it for free other wise.

The first 6Gens had some bugs like everything. I bought a used A8 2018 it had 5700 miles on it and I have had zero issues.
I think while they could have issues most were taking care of, doesn’t stop everyone from warning you though.

In Denmark where I am from, the car import/registration tax is 150% over a certain amount. A few years ago, it was 180%. The Camaro would get about a $ 10k penalty along that for the amount of co2 per km.

The Danish tax authorities has only made one single estimate on 6th gen Camaro. The exact model was a 2018 2SS convertible. Including tax, it was listed with a price of $ 155k. Then add around $ 1.9k in yearly road tax. And imagine what insurance will cost for a car valued at 155k with 455hp!

That is if you want to own one. If you are leasing, the taxation is different.

The EU spec equivalent of the US 2SS (all bells and whistles; dual mode exhaust, magride, etc.) was sold new for model year 2018 in Sweden. There are quite a few available on bytbil.com or blocket.se. Would this be an option for you?

We did some calculations and for example for a 2016 2SS that costs $29000 in USA would cost me up to 63000€ (~$75000) with all the taxes and fees etc. before getting it registered here.

Because of this already hefty price tag i'd appreciate if you could give me some information about stuff i should look out for with finding a good quality camaro.

Difference in taxes between 2016 and 2017 model is around $5000 so the 2016 especially something i'm looking for.

Thanks

That's better. My thinking was it was a Broker. If you can, contact and speak with people that have used them recently.
