It loses that musclecar look. I recently bought the 5th gen ZL1 front bumper, just have to have it painted. I think those look awesome.
Totally agree. One of my friends has a 2013 black ZL1 that he did the gen6 front fascia on, and it just doesn't look or flow with the rest of the car, but he digs it. Just not for me. About the only front fascia I would do was the 5th gen ZL1, though about it, but everyone was doing it, so decided to do my own thing with my Camaro.

And that was a wise choice Wayne. Your car is far more stunning and tastefully unique than most all of the cars on here.

I'm on similar page with the 5th gen ZL1 bumper, I think it might be the best 5th gen bumper in looks and I get tempted every now and again but it feels like everyone is doing it, and although there's good reason for it, I just kinda figured I'll work with what I got and see what I can make of it, plus if I switch now I'll have to change bunch of stuff like how the splitter and belly pan are fitted.

Personally I like the 10-13 SS front end with a body color heritage the most of all the 5th gens.
Like I said above the 6th gen bumper on a 5th looks like the car is missing chromosomes. I’m in the camp of go buy a 6th gen if you like that look so much. It doesn’t belong on a 5th gen. Don’t forget that front end and the rest of the car not selling as a whole is why we won’t have a Camaro on dealer floors real soon.

To me it's kind of on par with those Fiero based kit cars that copy lambos and Ferraris but just don't look right.

The 6th gen front on the 5th gen doesn't work because the lines and proportions look off to me looks out of place and hacky. Different strokes for different folks and I'm cool with that.

I knew I was going to be replacing my front fascia, I considered going back stock SS, the 5th gen ZL1, and some of the aftermarket. The 5th gen ZL1 fascia with Heritage is what I settled on and is by far my most favorite look for me on my car. No regrets.

I still have my old front fascia and am considering painting it along with the whole car when that time comes to leave my options open.

Thank you my brother, I really appreciate that! I had to take the headlight covers off. Somehow I lost the passenger side one, not sure how, but I did. I'm almost thinking someone stole it because they were clipped in pretty tight. Back when I bought them from Phastek they were only 100 bucks, now they are 200!! Ouch.. lol.

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a set for mine too. They are really cool.

hahaha...you're probably right. It's tough to invoke some cheesy, obscure sci-fi flick in a mixed crowd.
