6.4 on pump gas!!!
Made it to the track last night. Only made a couple passes. Track prep wasn't as good as usual because today they are hosting a no prep race. My first pass didn't go so well. She went 6.7 @107. Then I moved my burnout further from the water box and things got a little better. New pr even in crap DA.

That is a killer et especially for pump gas.

Thanks man. I'm looking forward to finishing a few things I have planned and running a little spray and dine race gas. My biggest hurdle so far had been the transmission tune.

Yeah it is a real pain, it will rev past the fuel cut, and desired RPM. I think it's true shift point is the MPH. But it is getting there. I have cut my best 60 for launching in first, but my highest trap speed launching in second.

How much boost are you seeing? Did you drop your compression with the new pistons?

Stock converter? Are you spraying right off the line? If so what size shot?
I am working on traction over the winter and will also have a converter. I am anxious to try different launching techniques. I am thinking a big shot off the line leaving in 2nd would give me the best et and smoothest launch.

With the filter on I see 15 psi. W/O filter I see 17 psi. I did drop the compression to 10.5 to 1. I really like this setup. On the streets it is fun and its running pretty strong at the track.

If I can get it to stall to 3000rpm or higher I will hit it with a 150shot if that's what it takes.
You must have a converter to get the rpms up that high staging?

EDIT: Geez 150 and here I am thinking that 75 may be the limit. What are you going to do for spark plugs? |

just the ngk7 iridiums, cant remember the exact number.
I am very impressed with your et, no nitrous and pump gas still. it gives me hope for running really fast come spring.

Thanks. I have made some changes. I have broke out the IAT and the BARO sensor. I don't think the changes that they've made equate to much power wise but it does help a lot with tuning (VVE). I currently have those same plugs. I am looking at some Brisk USA plugs. Do you think that a Iridium 7 heat range is going to work with boost and nitrous? How much boost and spray? Race gas?

I have plenty of turbo and fuel system and can dial in as much power I choose to with just boost. My issue is spoll time. My plan is to spray only to build boost and then shut it off. Something like from 3000 rpm to 5psi. It won't spray for long. I have s set of brisk plugs sitting here but not installed yet. . A friend of mine is running them but he is still at low boost. They seem to work fine.
