A lt4 swap sounds like a bad idea to me, you could def sell your current car and upgrade to a zl1 with the cost of the swap

Stepping into a ZL1 now and using that as the foundation will likely be much cheaper for big power since it was designed from the beginning as a forced induction application as opposed to building up an LT1 in several stages. Though, my vote and plans for my car is for N/A all motor. Likely not until after I am on the hook for an engine instead of the warranty. Not that I am expecting such an issue but track duty does take its toll. |

Do bolt ons first. Headers etc.
When more power is desired, throw in a cam. More power? Heads. Then if that isn't enough, go for FI.

There's guys making 530-550 at the wheels with H/C/I/E85 packages. I can't see why one would spend the money on a supercharger when you can have that without. Plus the last dynograph I saw lost no power at any range. Very impressive!
