These would be perfect if you switched to 19's and a tire that is slightly smaller in diameter. Which 19's usually are.

I agree that a 1" would be a good option.

Great pricing and first kids on the block. Good job

I to am willing to purchase these as long as some more specs about the spring rate are let out.
Another thing I worry about with these springs is why they do not have isolators or sleeves to stop suspension noise caused from coils collapsing on one another. Those collapsed coils are notoriously known to make people who drop their vehicles lost their minds.

If you look at the pictures close there is still a lot of room when it is lowered. With stock tires and wheels I can't ever see 1.5 drop being a problem.

Mine will be here on Monday as they were shipped yesterday. One other member is have his installed today. So, he will do a review and I can do mine next week. I'll take pictures during the install at my shop.

How much room is there for larger wheels/tires with this drop? Can you run a 10" to 11" wheel in the back? It looks good, but for those of us with wider wheels we might need to wait for a 1" drop.

Doubt an 11 will work. I've got some 10's coming in early March and I'll let you know if that will work after I lower mine.

At this time there is no plan on doing a 1" drop. But they will consider it if we get enough questions about it.

We should have more info soon, I am working on getting all of that collected. I understand your concern, looking at the car lowered it looks like there is plenty of room, I am not able to get a picture right now but will work on getting one.

I can tell you that I drove this car like I stole it over the weekend. And going from lock to lock in an empty parking lot I did not hear anything, no squeak, no rattle, no noise what so ever. I wanted the car to make some noise but I could not get it to do it, even to this day still no noise.

I do have a set of 20x11 wheels that I do plan on putting on to see what we can figure out.

That much drop on factory shocks seems like a bad idea to me. The shock is no longer working in its designed range. Compression range has been reduced by quite a bit.
A one 1in drop with shorter shocks like Bilstein Sports would be a lot better setup.
Obviously I am coming from a handling point of view as I am an autocrosser.

Looks good, but a bit too much drop for me.

No matter how you slice it, the stance on these 6th gens is better than the 5th gens, and way better than the 5th gen V6s by a mile. I dropped my 5th gen LT an inch and I think the stock gap on my 6th gen SS is still as tight or tighter.

I'm hoping that when I go with a wider rim/tire that alone will fill the gap just a bit, which would be perfect for me. I've seen some aftermarket wheel/tire setups that look to do just that.

Those look good, but it sounds like you are planning on using the same exact spring for MRC? It does work but their is a lot of reasons why the big boys dont have kits for MRC cars....
Lowering springs work on MRC ONLY if you also install calibrated shortercontrol rods! Did it on my 2014 Twin Turbo CTS Cadillac via D3 Performance in LA area(signal hill). They may be working on a kit for the Camaro??

chuckclanton,

We do plan on doing some testing on an MRC car to see what might be needed to be changed or if there will be any issues. Once we find out what is going on we will update the manufacturer and see what we need to do to resolve the MRC cars issue, if there is one.

Just a matter of time before we get a car to test.

I keep looking at this.
It looks great but it almost looks like it might be better if the rear was 1.25". ...or maybe 1"
Personal opinion of course.
