Thanks, I new they were covers. I just didn't know what they were made of.

Red anodized tuner lugs might be a better option?

IMHO I would say No to Red lug nuts.

I bought some but have to wait until summer when I get my 1LE to see if I'll keep them on. I think they would give an interesting offsetting tone with the red brembo calipers. And since my car will be CRT, it should blend well with the body color. The red anodize gives off more of a cherry hue than a bright red like Victory Red or Red Hot. I'd like to see pics of someone with a CRT/1LE with the red anodize lugs.

Though it states 12 x 1.25, it's only a stock photo. The set I got are 14 x 1.5mm

Would definately pass on the plastic caps. I'm thinking the red anodized aluminum or red anodized steel lugs. I want some with locking to safeguard the wheel too.

See how it would look on the SSX wheel. So far I'm not a fan of this scheme, but if done neatly then you may pull it off.

I looked into putting red lug nuts on my car last summer. All the red ones I found tended to look more pink to me than red so I decide to stay with black lug nuts and trim the center caps and outer edge in red.
