I also had a BLK 2010 SS and all of my previous vehicles were dark colors. I am very happy with white. I like the white with black accents I have added, it just sets it off with the black wheels. No regrets here.

If you want something bad enough you'll do whatever it takes to get it.....but that's just my opinion..
To you and the other poster, my logic is not lazy logic.

1. I have a relationship with my dealer and get extras from them.
2. My dealer gave me the best value on my trade-in.
3. Dealers give you the best deal on their OWN inventory.
4. I bought a leftover 2013, so there weren't many to choose from within 500 miles.
5. My dealer sold me a car that stickered at $58.5 for $52, which I thought was a great deal.
6. Color is never a big deal to me, unless it is an obnoxiously loud color. If I could get a better deal on a "lesser color" I'll take it. That said, if I could have gotten CRT or white that satisfied all of the above points, I would have bought one. I love the way black looks, but it sux to take care of.

I have a non Zl1, but its black. There is just something about black that stands out. i had a 86 black camaro. i have a white SUV, and gee, does It show the dirt too! to me, there is NO color out there EXCEPT silver or gray, that does NOT show dirt. we all have personal choices, but to me, any ZL1 in any color rocks! hats off to you folks on here than can afford that car.

I got lucky. Wanted a CRT with ECF, both were on constraint when I put money down on it, but became available just before the dealer was able to send the order in. My only regret is that they didn't drop it for 2013 and 2014. Instead they came out with yet another red that looks a lot like it.

You did get lucky. One of 53 I believe. Timing is everything.

Your dealer should be able to get the exact ZL1 you want from another dealer if you only want to deal with them

I always have buyer's color remorse. After I got my Aqua Blue Metallic SS I wanted Cyber Grey Metallic. I like Victory Red on the ZL1 but if I had it to do over, I'd do Black. I didn't order Black because of the aforementioned maintenance hassles.

I like the white. Classes it up a bit, and I can certainly use more class. My first choice was Ashen Gray on Black. Consolation = the hood insert is AGM. I like the white a lot.

Of course, but they couldn't give me the same great price.

My last car was black.. and was such a pain to keep clean.. The ZL1 is white.... I still labor over keeping it clean..

If i had it to do over again. I would still pick white...

I would be hard pressed to think that there are any regrets with buying a ZL1. At that level and price, you should be getting exactly what you want in a car.
