Its about time somebody called me on that.......ive posted it a few times. I have a friend that has an 11 5.0 owned it since new. That been a great car that flat out hauls ass and looks really good in Cona blue. After seeing...driving and racing it I dont share your opinion.

Just wondering if any members on here have had a chance to have a second gen Camaro? I'm really trying to get my hands on one. my plan is depending on the year even if it's a late 70s I think till 1980. I want to swap out the front and rear bumper and convert them to a 70 split bumper and get 4 round tailights .. I'm sure the front will be somewhat easy swap the rear end hopefully not too much body work.. can actually still find a 2nd gens fairly cheap.

Agreed - I had a blast in my old 4th gen and I'm surprised at how little respect the 4th gen gets around here. When the '93 Z/28 came out with the 275 hp / 325 lb-ft LT1 it finally brought relatively cheap horsepower back to the masses and put the Mustang to shame. Along with the Firebird (RIP), the 4th gen Camaro ushered us out of the horsepower dark ages that had lasted for about 20 years and began a new horsepower war which continues to this day. When I got my first real job the first thing I did was go out and buy a brand new '97 Z/28 vert in Mystic Teal!

By some opinions, I seem to own 2 of the worst of the worst - an early LT1 4th gen and a 2014 refreshed ZL1.
I'll never get rid of my 4th gen (1996 SS - picture taken in 2016):

Silver tends to deteriorate the fastest. Something about silver just doesn’t last very long. Shitty ingredients in the paint? And I’d say AMB is probably the best color they had.
I agree 2014 refresh was probably the best? However unless it’s Z/28? **** all those bells and whistles that came with the 2SS. I wouldn’t say 2010-2013 is cartoonish though. They sold TONS. Because of that introduction car. So to say they look shitty to other models? It’s because of the 2010-2013 models you’re ON THIS FORUM!:
