The Camaro is not being out sold by the mustang every month. All muscle cars sales suck. You canít find a cheap mustang thatís a lie. Camaro is better and worth more. Mustang sucks. Hey if you can walk in and buy that Mustang for $29K out the door, thatís a great deal. But itís a dealer tactic to get you in the door to show the price of the car including every discount and rebate possible factored into that price even though chances are you donít qualify for some of those discounts.

Sorry you donít like it being pointed out how the dealer is advertising that $29K price.

Order banks usually close some time in May for end of Model Year.

And guess what, I'm willing to bet that Dodge doesn't care how the Challenger is doing compared to the non-performance based Durangos.

You're comparing apples and oranges. The Mustang is outselling it's competition.
I was only pointing out the idea of purely looking at sales performance and stating that because of this car A needs a refresh when both the Camaro and Mustang saw sales declines last month. It doesn't matter for Ford is the Mustang is out selling the Camaro if it sales drop too low then it is going to be an issue (same with the Camaro).

With the 2019 refresh it isn't going to be a guarantee that they will sell more vehicles after it (as that doesn't seem to have worked with the Mustang). After all if the Camaro is selling 500 units a month and the Mustang is moving 400 units a month it doesn't matter that the Camaro is out selling the Mustang as it is bad all around.

In my opinion, the 2019 Siverado is much improved style wise over it's predecessors. It's lines are better and there is no more square wheel openings that just never looked right to me on a truck.

Haha, I'm just pointing out the reality when it comes to prices that are too good to be true (camaro or mustang). And I'm not rich by any means. This is my first car over 30k.

Who knows, you might luck out and prove me wrong. Even if you do, you get what you pay for. You'll pay less and get less Though, if your heart is in the Mustang, that's what you should get.

In the end, as long as you're happy.

Making an apples to apples price comparison the 1SS Camaro starts at $38,000 and the Mustang GT starts at $36,000 bucks. That is a $2,000 difference between the two cars, however for those who are going to option up their vehicles anyways the fact that the 1SS Camaro has more standard equipment does mean something. Though if you are someone who just wants the performance then the 460BHP Mustang GT at $36,000 bucks is going to be a hard sell for the Camaro to beat.

Though the base Mustang is $26,485 compared to $26,900 for the base model Camaro, option per option they are priced closely with each other.

This is a spy pic of the upcoming Blazer. Probably, Camaro will get the same screen.

This is a complicated subject. Cars in general are not selling as well as they used to in favor of trucks and SUV's. Sportscars are even further hampered and I do agree that cost is part of the equation. It's getting to the point that a loaded Camaro and Mustang MSRP's for $50K+ and there just are not that many buyers who are willing to pay that for a car that does not offer the practicality, MPG's and ergonomics as other vehicles.

Both Chevy and Ford are chasing a declinging marketshare and with all the technology, safety, and performance the prices are getting out of control.

Depreciation is a killer too. For example I saved 29% off MSRP when I bought my 2016 C7 by buying one that was 11 months old used and had 2200 miles. Buying new has a penalty with these types of cars for sure the first couple years.

I hope not, that looks awful. I hate the way some automakers have those screens. That looks like it was just tossed in at the last minute

Thanks for actually bringing up something about the refresh. It looks pretty legit that this screen will be used in the Camaro too. But I actually think the smaller one right now looks a bit less distracting

Itís almost like the people that make these decisions donít actually take them out in the real world. It all looks good on paper or the computer screen.

Kinda like the charging pad. Must have fit the engineers phone but he didn't stop to think about other phones.

Nice. I wonder what the the resolution and size of that display are. Would love a huge Tesla style display, but it wouldn't look right in that center stack. I'd be happy with a slightly larger, higher resolution display that's a bit more responsive.
