front end

I liked the look of the 19's when I first saw them in person, but now I don't know. I like the 18's from the front, but the 19's hood and rear looks better. I was thinking of getting an 18 on discount, but the more I search, the more I hear about possible trans shudder. I was going to go with garnet, but after a build, I discovered that crush is growing on me especially with black stripes and ceramic interior. I found one nearby, but with a couple added options (MRC and sunroof) listed at 49k, ouch. I want to stay around 40k if possible. I also found a couple left over hot wheel editions in the upper 30's, but IDK, a little over the top with the orange interior maybe.

So anyway, whats the status on the "concept" front end on the 19's? I'm assuming they aren't going to do anything until the 20's come out. Would it be possible to do a conversion from a LT or RS model? I guess you could always paint the middle portion of the bumper.

The rear of the 2019 is better. I've thought so since the day it was announced. I really like how the removed the stupid lines from under the taillights and the lights themselves have a bulkier, more muscle look to me. I've always liked the 2016 tail lights but the entire 2019 year just looks better. I have a 2016 SS that I love but if I try and step back to view it from a 'what will look best in a couple years time' kind of perspective I appreciate the new rear a lot.

I think the front looks great with the painted from bar.

I agree. What do you guys think about the hot wheels edition? I can't seem to find a complete list of options it has, but sounds like a pretty loaded SS with NAV and MRC. Not sure if it has the active exhaust, but sounds like a lot for the money (at 38.5k from MSRP of 50k). IDK, would it seem a little over the top for a guy in his late 40's?

Hot wheels is too over the top for me, and I don't think it depends on age, just taste.
I love the orange crush color, but I don't want it inside the cabin. I also don't need a "hot wheels" badge on my car that I would just take off later.

Nice looking ride Luis. It does look better in darker colors. I had a black car once and said never again. I'm guessing the Mosaic would be no better to try to keep clean? I like the greys too, but my last mustang was grey and also had two silver cars. I never had a dark blue car like riverside though, but I think I like the hyper blue better.

Thank you! It's super hard to keep clean. I will be getting it ceramic coated soon with PPF on the front bumper. If the bumper was color matched on the grille, I would have considered Satin Steel Gray.

Anyone have the Recaro seats? I almost passed by an 18 auto 2SS Garnet Camaro because I thought it had the normal black seats, but after looking again, I see it has the Recaro's. It doesn't have many options, just the seats, color and sunroof, but I guess they come pretty loaded already and listed at 40k, it may be doable. Are there any drawbacks to the seats (besides not matching the rears), like do you not get the heat/cooling option with them?

I couldn't disagree more. I just hope my 2106 doesn't get wrecked because I'm not getting the refresh. Sorry it's just ugly. I saw one up close, total fail.

it reminds me of a muffin top.

i do like the line under the tail lights on the 19, but the extra flare and cinch line is unnecessary...

i'd like to see the 16-18 dark tail lights with the top license plate line from the 19 and the bottom half from the 16-18. guess i need to get good at photoshop.
