I want headers/cutouts/stock mufflers

How does this setup sound in loudness and tone?

I want my car quiet as possible inside and out until I open the cutouts. Two extremes.

Not sure what brand headers but something quality with high flow cats, not sure on the brand of electric cutouts.

Do I need to get any other parts?

That should get you exactly what you are looking for. LTs with high flow cats on stock exhaust will be louder than stock but still tame. Open up a set of cut outs and it will be like war!

Check out the Stainless Works 1 7/8 long tubes with high flow cats. The quality is second to none and we have some aggressive holiday pricing. QTP makes a nice electric cut out at a reasonable price.

My big question is will it wake my neighbors up when I leave at 5:30am?

I am a very courteous guy and used to have the loudmouth on my LS1 Camaro.....felt like a jerk. LOL

In this header install with stock catback it SEEMS way louder with the headers and high flow cats.....I guess the only way for me to know is to find a local guy and listen to his car. Time to start going to get-togethers?

It is definitely louder but it shouldn't be like a Loud Mouth. If you are uncertain then you should definitely try to track one down to listen to.
