"Final Shine Towels"?

Is this a thing? One of the auto parts places sent me an ad with final shine microfiber towels that are supposed to be for buffing off wax, etc.

Is this snake oil?

Here's the blurb:
The microfiber final shine towels are made with an innovative new weave to reduce the grabbing sensation a normal microfiber cloth exhibits on your fingertips. By using a finer thickness of yarn than other towels, the final shine is just as productive as other microfiber cloths with a smoother feel. These towels are perfect for buffing off waxes or polishes and also great for general cleaning.

Unique weave for a softer touch compared to normal microfiber
Quickly and completely removes wax and polish
Clear coat safe
Washable and reusable

Won't any decent microfiber towel work? What do you guys who do things by hand use for that final shine?

Your final Towel, at least for me, is my cleanest, most fluffy/plushest microfiber that I have. It's used for nothing except the final wipe.....any microfiber between 360 and 600 GSM will work. Wash it and put it away after using, use it for nothing else, Except for that final swipe ......

Sounds good to me. I'll have to dig in to those GSM numbers and figure out what I have already.

Try a Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile.

I'm a microfiber junkie, and have tried everything I possibly can get my hands on.

A better towel for wax/sealant excess removal doesn't exist.

I like Blue Whale MF towels from Microfiber tech for my "final" towel. I have a few that I use with a QD too.
