1LE front chin - repair?

So we knew when we bought the car that part was at risk. I’m very careful about parking for that reason. However some idiot business owners set the slope of their driveway entrance that simply driving up will damage it. Today I cracked a part of the front whlle scraping another part.

I used a sharpie to hide the scrape and it works surprisingly well. However the cracked part shows a white part of the inside of it and it seems to need “bondo” style repair. I guess I meant filler. And then painted flat black.

I see replacements sold for as little as $250 but seriously if I kept replacing every time something happens I’d need a monthly subscription to have one shipped to me every month. I just need a cheap way to keep it looking decent. The part is almost sacrificial considering how low it is and poorly designed roads are in SUV land.

Ya, I got mine already. Not to bad, a little filing and paint touch-up.
If your's is really bad you can fiberglass it (make it strong again) then filler.
Post a pic.

Try to fix it and if you can live with how it looks, great! If not, order a new one. Can't hurt to try.

A semi temp fix, it worked for me for 18 months and I sold the car was still fine
Sand rough off, clean Gouge/crack with acetone
Use loctite epoxy putty to fill crack
Wait 24 hours, sand to smooth shape ...grit:400/1500/3000

Paint with rattle can duplicolor black
Follow with clear
Dont touch for 30 days and then wax/seal

Should I run Gorilla tape over it as a preventative measure on street and track? I've seem some cracked due to track marbles hitting it.

I’m also wondering if I could just take it off and go like the non 1LE Camaros. Because this thing is poised to get hit every two months with the way people build driveway ramps.
