In street trim, mine has LTs into green cats into stock catback and it sounds awesome. But, I would do an aftermarket catback if it added measurable hp.

Not mine, the Maggie and 3 years made its sound deeper with less of the high pitches. I can't justify the Borla you have, it's better but not $2k+ better. Guess I'll cheap out this time and just paint the suitcase and maybe the interior of the tips matte black, it'll look sinister.

Haha. Don’t be jelly. You know the next time I see you, you’ll ask me to go get you lunch and I’ll come back to you under my car cutting the exhaust out

I would think that with the mods you have, getting rid of the stock suitcase would bring out some good HP.

There’s really no HP gains cat back wise. The restriction is all in the manifolds/cats.

Look at the post I commented on. They have long tubes and green cats. Only stock exhaust is the NPP. Getting rid of that would be a full exhaust and let it gain 15 rwhp or more.

Plus their car is pretty well modded.

...yup, buying the tools already as we "speak". Not With all the aerodynamic advantage my suitcase yields, plus my lightweight, beautiful SS front grille, I'll leave you in the dust, your 200+ hp advantage be damned.

Now we're talkin. That's an additional ~33% on top of the Kong and NW, which gets me very near 800 wheel. It would be worth doing one of the top catbacks, maybe even straight pipes.

I would be inclined to believe there's a slight gain in power using an aftermarket catback once you start to get near the 800whp mark.

My stock catback made exactly the same power. It's been shown many times there's barely any gains adding a cat back.

CSP even has a video on them testing this.

Agreed. Numerous tests have confirmed this. With the stock NPP and valves open, you are basically running straight pipes. The best I’ve personally heard has been the stock suitcase with the valves open (fuse pulled) and the secondary cats deleted. Sounds like old school muscle car, to me at least.
