What about a trackhawk?
I was looking at a trackhawk as a good everyday compromise over a zl1. Anyone have any thoughts?

My daily driver is a jeep srt, I know it's not a trackhawk. My jeep is great. Good power and I can fit the family in the car. If you are looking for something bigger, go with a cts-v

Obviously it would be a better everyday use over a ZL1. More room for cargo and people. Little more amenities, better ride around town or on a long trip and a better interior, more luxury than sport.
Only downsides would be if you were buying it new (way more pricey), doesn't handle like the ZL1 and gets worse mpgs. Just to name a few ups and downs. |

Totally different vehicles and uses. Hands down a Trackhawk as an only vehicle.

I have a SRT Jeep it’s our go to for long trips and daily driving. Put a Borla Atak on it and it sounds like a proper muscle car. When we trade it in we will get the track hawk. Can’t think of another SUV I’d rather have.
As far as interiors go mopar does it right in these jeeps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Trackhawk is priced too high. Dodge needs to price it back to reality. Other than that all good.

I agree. The trackhawk is a total monster.
But it’s too damn expensive. I’m waiting to see what Dodge is going to do I’m the coming year. That trackhawk will hopefully be coming down in price.

What about a Charger Hellcat for a daily? Plenty of room with 4 doors and 700hp!

Can adults fit back there? I’ve never been in one.

Totally agree. 100k for a Jeep is an absolute joke.

My local dodge dealer has one of those on the showroom floor. Holy crap that thing is $95K! I am sure its nice, but holy crap that not in the same price category as my ZL1 was at all. If money was no object then thats another story.
Plus I would bet that thing most likely gets 8-10MPG on a good day.

Beautiful vehicle. The interior is amazing. I imagine it would be in a class by itself for long road trips. But, as crazy as I was to spend 70k for a Camaro (according to my wife), that is too much money for what I am buying and the depreciation hit I would take as soon as I drove off the lot would hurt my feelings, badly. Anywho, just my two cents. It is not a compromise with a ZL1. A Camaro SS or Mustang GT is a compromise maybe.

For that kind of money I would look at a CTS-V, unless you need AWD
