SC l99 question

so i finally talked myself into it with some peer pressure from the guys and ignoring the nagging of my girl saying "why you going to spend that money like that", i want a supercharger , ive never owned a supercharged car and get lost in all the awesome comments of each l99 specified sc. so excuse my ignorance but to all you l99 sc guys what am i getting myself into. hows the maintenance what else will i need to purchase to keep my car running smooth . also this will be my dd and i go to track for fun and to avoid tickets nothing serious just a smile on my face . so what sc do you think is best on a dd .

looking for around 550rwhp

There really is no additional maintenance with having a SC so don't worry about that.

Every kit available is awesome. You'll have to take some time, research the products and installer. You may be best served using the brand your installer has the most experience with.

Everyone on this forum has their idea on what is the best so when you ask that you'll get a different opinion with every response.

Hey,

I would say a Maggie...ID850 injectors, MSD fuel boost a pump, maybe a ZL1 fuel pump and a 3.0 pulley to get close to 550HP on a L99. I got 501RWHP 570 RWTQ with a 3.4pulley... If you want do an LS3 conversion and a mild cam plus the blower and you will achieve your goal effortlessly.

Really? Run a 3.0 pulley on a stock fuel system and stock bottom?

Bad idea.

Turbos.

550rwhp on stock l99 would be barely pushing it. Drive like stock, tons of torque, tons of top end.

ADM is doing my LS3 conversion with a Whipple SC soon. Going to be using his ADM fuel pump and some other goodies. Not my daily driver but will gain around 600 RWHP from what I have been told without any issues.
