winter storage
I am going to be parking my camaro for the winter. Would it hurt to put the new wheels and tires on now or should I wait until Spring? I don't want to get flat spots on the new tires.

Before you store your car for the winter just over inflate your tires to 50 LBS Psi and you will good with no flat spotting. Unless you have some really cheap tires, flat spotting at normal tire Psi`s with quality tires only last a mile or two. So either leave them as is or over inflate. I myself over inflate.

I also read somewhere that if u put wood under you tires that helps out too. It had something to do with the moisture on the ground and the difference in temp from the ground.

This. I pull my car onto four squares of plywood that I cut for this purpose.

Like they said
Like they said inflate tires to 45-50 psi and I place a tarp (nylon) on the floor that covers the entire foot print of the car plus and drive onto it.This prevents the moisture from coming thru the concrete floor when the garage heat cycles when I warm it up to work out there in the winter and it cools down after.Just a thought.Other than that just make sure you open the garage door each day and take a peek at her to make sure she is all right. You never know.
