I finally checked driving on Nascar banking at speed off of my bucket list last month...it is incredible!
The car's PDR said 1.68g max and Harry's Lap timer on my phone said 1.78g max!

Tires = OEM Goodyear Supercar 3 with about 5-6/32" of tread depth
Mods = Track alignment with front strut mod (camber: -2.8° front, -1.4° rear, toe: 0° front, +0.05° rear per side [+0.10° total rear toe]), StopTech STR 600 DOT 4 brake fluid, StopTech Sport Brake Pads (309.14050 front, 309.17180 rear, very similar feel to stock pads but more pedal pressure is required for equivalent braking force), GM plastic track brake cooling deflectors. Traction/stability control fully disabled, track mode with touring steering mode.



I was surprised to find that this is the most intimidating track I have ever driven due to the walls everywhere with very limited runoff space in the infield and the lack of turn in/apex/track out cones at this particular event. Unfortunately I witnessed one car that spun and another car that crashed both in the first session which also increased the intimidation factor.

I also made a playlist with some other videos from the event.

Weemus improved his best time to 1:23.82 at the same event but didn't post it on here yet...it was nice to meet you! www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH6_PikrN-4&t=277s (Linked timestamp of 277 seconds [4 minutes and 37 seconds] shows lap time.)

Whenever I finally get around to it, I also still have videos to edit/upload/post from January NASA MSRH CW (very slight lap time improvement) and March NASA NOLA 2.72mi Indy Straight layout.

I got another crack at Mid O on the club course config

Just an FYI since I'm no longer eligible for this thread. It took me exactly 3 sessions in my new C6Z to best my PB in the Camaro at Nelson's Ledges on the same tires (G3s). The vette does make more hp but less torque than the supercharged Camaro because it is a heads/cam car. I definitely have more time to cut.

Nice you are right near the V8 lap times in the turbo 4! What did you think of the track? Looks like there is a typo between the video title and lap time posted here...I believe it should be 1:27.75 rather than 1:24.75.
