Cool. Appreciate the find anyways. Yea, that's the one I'll get.

Yes I got the pedal version. I think that’s just a stock photo from JMS showing the boost input nipple.

I've been running the Ken Bell BAP for quite a while. I first installed it for a nitrous rig and have modified it as things changed.

When I installed there were some threads where guys were burning fuses from running it all the time and/or bypassing the FPCM. I cut into the 12ga pink hot in the trunk fuse box and tested the output voltage to the pump. When it's on, the voltage to the pump is always a bit higher than when it's off, but if not under load, it's not that much higher (13ish). Back then, some guys felt that meant BAPS were not worth the effort, but when your foot is in it, the voltage from the FPCM gets a good bit higher, like 15-16v.

When installing, I removed the dial adjuster and put a 4.7kOlm resistor in-line on that circuit to prevent it from throwing a CEL for voltage over 18.5v. I also have two relays that close the circuit. either when boost goes over 7psi or the nitrous is armed. If I want to just turn it on when racing, I can disable the stages with the nitrous controller and the BAP turns on as soon as the system is armed even though the nitrous will never trigger and actually has its own fuel system these days.

I just got finished tuning with a new turbo and with just a ZL1 pump, I could not get past the 560-580 range. I know because the resistor wire had broken when I went for the first session. After putting a new resistor in and protecting it a bit better, I had another session and it pulled 712hp at 5900 with the downpipe cut out only about a quarter open (that is now fixed too). the fuel pressure was 58 up to about 7psi and then went to 62 and held all the way through 6500ish.
