Should I be worried about about anything? I normally do my first oil change at 1000 miles but that wont be an option. Excited to get behind the wheel.

Thanks!
Congrats.!!! Only thing to worry about is maybe put down a plastic cover on your seat, you know, in case you get too excited.....

You will get paint damage within 100 miles from the sticky tires...tape areas around wheels up or have 3m clear applied prior to ride home!!

Might have to try to find a parking lot for a oil change in route... I sure won't find a dealership open on a Sunday I'm guessing.

Alabama to Colorado is the path.
Where in Alabama? I just drove 4 hours from home a couple of weeks ago and got my white ZLE in north Alabama and the dealer had an awesome crush sitting in front of the dealership.

Know the PTM
modes as well as possible. This car in the wrong mode will step out on you FAST.

I also flew from Denver to Virginia pick up my ZL1. 1700 miles. I flew out with my girlfriend and drove it home! No dealers in Denver were willing to work with me? I set up an oil change 500 miles into our return trip, in Ohio. It was one of the most fun and memorable road trips I’ve ever taken! Enjoy the trip the car is amazing! I live in S/E Aurora, Hope to see you around town!

I'm going to Donohoo in Fort Payne. They have been super to work with.

There was only 3 ZL1-1LE cars in the whole state of Colorado and all the wrong color. They would not move one penny and two had hail damage.

My son and I are super excited for the trip. He is only 12 so I will be doing all the driving.

Awe man that is going to be awesome. When I bought my ZLE and it arrived at the dealer I took my 9 year old son to look at it. He loved it. I could tell he didn’t quite understand the car was mine. He was even sitting in it. I told him to get in the passenger seat and then I jumped in and started it. The look on his face and the size of his eyes was priceless

‘Is this really yours dad?’
I told you I bought one. Yeah it’s mine.

PPF before it even leaves the lot if possible. Mine had two stone chips at less than 35 miles and never faster than 45 mph. Even now, it tosses stones up on the hood at low speed and sometimes even in the side window when down. Sticky tires are great, but have their downside.

That's the dealership I bought from and I agree, they were great to work with. Would absolutely recommend them.

I was admiring your car when I was at the dealership.

Spoiler alert...

I am flying in to pick up my car from Donohoo today, can’t wait.
Picking up a red M6, this was the only place I could find one in the south with the PDR and M6 in Red.
They were very easy to deal with

Well 1326 miles and 7 states in two days its back home.

The car is amazing and is not even in the same solar system my 2013 5th Gen ZL1 was.

Donahoo was a nice place and the staff was nice, but was a bit disappointed in the cars delivery. They didn't do a very good job cleaning it up. The windshield and windows looked like someone rubbed something all over them, they also never stepped foot outside the dealership to show us anything on the car (or where it was on the lot ). Not enough for me to give them a poor review just very surprising after how well they handled everything else.

The car ran perfect and I am very happy with everything other then, I have a rattle in the dash right in the center and one in the rear passenger speaker grill area. Very frustrating that anything would have any kind of rattle in a car of this price. I will get them fixed and look forward to driving the car.

Few small mods planed for now, but it will get a 2650 Maggie at 3 years or 36,000 miles.

Big thanks to all of you that gave me input. Look forward to keeping you all updated.

Here are a couple pictures...
