305/35/20 tires on MRR 1LE rims.

I have the MRR 1LE replica rims and current run with 305/30 275/30 tires. Can I move to 305/35 and 275/35 tires without any rubbing issues?

From what I understand, you'll be ok with 305/35's as long as you relocate the wiring harness in the left rear wheel well (a fairly easy job)...

Looks like this has been done with 285/35 on NON-MRC and no issues. Is your car MRC? With MRC & 285/30 upfront I’m close but no issues.

I am running 275/35 and 305/35 without much trouble but I did relocate the harness. Some rubbing up front when and full turn and on and incline but very minimal

Hey can you take the rear run flats (275x35x20)and mount them on MMR 017 fronts 20x10s? Not trying to high jack the thread but I have search the forum and can't seem to find the answer. Got 305x 35x20 MTs for the rear 20x11s.

Yes. Without spacers they may rub a tiny bit on the driver side at full lock.

Thx for the quick reply. I thought so but couldn't find it anywhere. New to the game so trying to do things once.

i assume your wheels are 23mm offset in the front? Im about to do the same. Does the rearend sit noticeably higher with this set up? 305/35s are an inch taller then the 275/35s in front.

Yes, they're 10" MRR017 wheels with a 23mm offset.

The rubbing is very minimal and would probably go away if I lowered tire pressure a bit, want me to post a photo?

To all those who want wide and tall 35 aspect ratio tires in the rear, it's a Russian roulette, some people have Stabilitrak and ABS errors due to the large difference compared to stock. I run 315/30/20 tires on 11" rear wheels, which retains the stock non-1LE front/rear ratio almost perfectly.

EDIT: here's what the spot with the minimal rubbing against the driver side front wheel well liner looks like. It's not getting worse now that I lowered tire pressures.

How do you like the MRR017 wheels? Are they good quality and durable?

I'd really like to go to 1LE wheel setup when it comes time for tires, but have heard mixed reviews on the MRR wheels... I don't plan to track, but definitely want to safely do some very "spirited" driving... I LOVE the look of the 1LE wheels (and the size), just want something durable, reliable and safe...

I've had these for about 7,000 miles. They look very good, are durable, solid and somewhat lighter than the OEM SS wheels. They do require different lug nuts, so if you buy these, make sure you have the correct profile and size, you might want to order them together. There was a thread from someone who had the lug nuts loosen on him because he used the wrong profile (or maybe tried to reuse the factory ones, I don't remember), so I check mine regularly as a precaution, they've retained 140 lb-ft, as they should.

The paint job on my gloss black set isn't perfectly uniform across the wheels, I could probably polish up the ones that aren't at the exact same gloss level, but my plan is to powdercoat them eventually.

In summary, I think they're fine, especially considering they cost half as much as the OEM 1LE set.

Sure, here you go. Suffice to say I will not win any photography awards this year (either).

I only installed the side skirts a month ago, that's why it's missing from the first three pics.

Yes, I have MRC.

Not worried about a little rub at full lock. So 30s on the back and 35s on the front should keep a level ride. Did you try 35s front and rear before without any trouble?
