No LT1 doesnt not have Track mode. SNow/Ice, Touring and Sport. Suspension is FE3 suspension which was also on my 17’ SS i believe. It’s the non magnetic basic Chevy performance offering. I have anew LT1. Besides staggered wheel, summer performance tires, and NPP exhaust my LT1 feels more polished then last one.
I would. |

That's interesting, my 21 does have competitive mode (not sure if different from the SS). You just have to put it in sport and press the T/C button twice (just not too quickly or it doesn't work)

So just a little update. Talked to my salesman I will be ordering a car and I sent him my build. LT1 auto in riverside blue, Rs package, tech package, black wheel, blade spoiler, sunroof and recaro seats. Need less to say I thought about just doing a 1ss at this point do to price but my salesman told me I’ll Probably get a better deal on the LT1.

The SS with summer performance tires do not make the car a good daily driver, brake dust is a pita, and line lock has little purpose and I drag race. The LT1 is a better daily and with a lot less stuff to have problems with. BTW isnt it almost a 3500 difference between a base LT1 and base 1SS?

Yes, it is 3500 but i need “tech package” if i go LT1. And if i go 1SS i do pref different OEM wheel since 20x9.5 size is good enough for daily so i can keep them. So this and that, its like avg 3k difference for me. Its seller’s market now, i have to think twice before add options lol

My current ss is my daily. But before the new comes I wana pick up somthing that will be a better dd just a beater either fwd or 4wd I live in Jersey so I get snow. That way the new camaro will just be a fun or nice out summer car. As far as the smaller rear rims I’ll
Be getting a set of racestars or somthing so it’s not a big issue for me. I drag race but my ss does good burn outs now and has brembos in the back I’m sure the LT1 can over power the v6 brakes in the back just fine when I do go to the track

I could be mistaken, but didn't I see somewhere that they discontinued the LT1 for 2022 and its too late to order a 21?
