Spring driving

I just took my car out of storage last week and today it is nice sunny spring day, but it is about 32 degrees now... Little chilly for a vert.

I still may take it out, but knowing it has summer only tires what kind of issues may I run in to? My 21" tires cost an arm so I don't want to do any damage to them or put myself in harms way. What is the worst that could happen?

Hopefully you won't find out.

Nothing will happen if you just drive normal.

You shouldn't have any trouble at all. Turn the heated seats on and you will be fine.
Hope to get mine out tomorrow if the sun shines.

just leave the nannies on and give it to her. I took my ss out a few times between snow falls this spring and was worth ever rock chip, love getting sideways on the wet cold roads around here

The only problem with using summer tires in the cool weather (under 50F) is that traction isn't as good. You aren't going to hurt them though.

I drove mine all winter with summer tires. Yes they suck when its 20 out and skid but just take it easy or stay in it and let the traction control work it out. once they heat up a bit they are ok.

depends on what kind of tires you bought. Some will crack and come apart. If there pzeros the minimum driving temperature is 45 degrees. anyone driving on summer only tires in temps too cold for them is a idiot. I could care less if you kill yourself but I do care for the person you hit.
