Inherited a 2015 LT RS

HI

Several months ago I unfortunately Inherited my wife's Camaro. She loved that car and I always admired it as well, so I have decided to keeps it as my extra weekend car. It's not a v8 as it seems everyone prefers, but I'm good with that due the the special meaning tied to this car, and I'm not looking to race. I 'd rather have it than any other Camaro.

About the car - The good news is IMO. it's absolutely beautiful

It's a 2015 RS in LT1 trim. Bright yellow with a black CF wrap hood ( Love that look!) It's in like new condition, still has the new car smell, and only has 25K miles on the clock. The RS package really makes a difference with the 20" rims and the LED lights. Really nice! Being in new condition, and intermittently used, I expect the car to last me a long time, and I'll probably keep it till I'm gone.

IT's been a few months and time for me to get my mind off things. So, I'd like to personalize it some, and would love any help / suggestions as I proceed.

1. I'd like to stick with the Yellow / black theme, and replace the RS spoiler with a gloss black CF Anvil Notch, and perhaps trade the wrap for a real carbon hood. Being a V6 I'd go with a stock styled hood.

2. The interior is OKish, and I love the black, but not a fan of the silver. I'm thinking about CF overlays, to hide the silver radio. console/ center vent, and do something with those tacky silver gauge surrounds!!

3. Then engine. Just looking for a sporty ride. Not drag racing. I started driving in the 80's so 335HP sounds like a lot to me? Don't understand some of the comments. My guess is the GM tune kinda sucks like on my truck. I red that the Trifecta tune resolves some of these sluggish issues? I might even be willing to do some bolt on stuff, but no internal please! Would also like to do something with the exhaust. Not looking for a American V8 sound, I'm more into the Ferrari/ formula type sound. Just as long as it doesn't sound like a Honda!

I know it's not going to be a racecar, but the RS is what she bought, and It's not going anywhere if I can help it.

ive driven/owned a few older musclecars.the RS might not be as fast as the V8 but its got plenty of pep around town. after 25 years of 400 pontiac with headers and duals i prefer the quiet ride of a stock camaro exhaust.i usually mod my cars but really havent done much to this one,GM did it right.

I sure like mine a lot.
Tune does help.
I do have plans for her, just need the space in the garage to start.
Enjoy.

That sounds nice. I'm always lookin over my shoulder. Its fun having the loudest car in town, but ughh, its stressful in itself!!

Will do!

My first step is deciding on where to start. Thinking about the Anvil spoiler while it's in stock.

Been researching tunes. Is Will's tune that much better than Trifecta? I really really really hate dealing with non responsive vendors! Sounds like a deal breaker.....

More expensive than doing drugs lol

Enjoy the car and do what you like. A cold air intake, a tune and a good axle back will give you all that you would want. Listen to some sound clips on YouTube to see which one you would like.
