Hi fellas, looking to do some suspension work here shortly. New rear arms, Bmr bushing spacers and I’d like to slightly lower the car at the same time. Question is about spring rates. I’d like to keep a spring around the same rate as stock since the stock transfers weight pretty good. Any suggestions?

Generally you don't want to lower your car at all if drag racing is your main activity: a higher CG means more weight transfer to the rear tires on launch, which is good. Also, you want the stiffest rear springs you can get: squat is terrible for drag racing because it means the suspension is trying top pick the rear tires up off the ground. You generally want soft front springs, too. Then you want shocks with tons of compression damping and little rebound. All of this adds up to a car that handles cornering and braking really badly, but hooks like hell on launch.
