I dont know what to think of this...

I was walking out to my car yesterday and I came across this Camaro "SS" and as usual, checked it out as I do all Camaros. the car had red SS badges and it was a non-RS car. Then I noticed the brakes were not Brembo, so it was obviously a V6. It wouldn't be as big a deal if they had not added the badges and just the other stuff, but to each their own.

What do you guys think of this? would you ever do this?

Being a V6 Camaro owner myself I don't think I would do this... I would be nervous someone would call me out, because a V6 sounds nothing like a V8.

I would never add them if mine wasn't an SS but to each his own

I sort of like what he did with the spoiler and side mirrors.

The problem I'm seeing is the tires. Some cheap Chinese tires. When he can't stop in a normal distance, or hydroplanes. He's risking others lives, not just his own. That really shows he's a dumb a.

The fit of the aftermarket hood sucks. The paint on the hood doesn't come close to matching. The 20 inch wheels are the lt's rs wheels. The SS ones are a polished silver. Then under a $100 Chinese tires. NOT a sleeper.

I call em Posers...Every premier make and/or model has it's wannabe imitators. I saw a 6 cylinder with a ZL1 badge last summer. I come from the Mercedes AMG world and if I had a dollar for every AMG badge I've seen slapped on a base model C class I'd have a stack of money. I was at a car show gathering this past weekend and my buddy who owns a Challenger Hellcat pointed out a Challenger R/T with Hellcat badges. Don't they say "imitation is the ultimate form of flattery" or something like that?

I've seen a 5th gen Mustang with Shelby GT500 decals on the hood at the golf course I go to. A guy at the clubhouse argued with me that it was a real GT500 because it had the decals. We 'debated' for about 30 minutes before I walked away because I knew it was pointless at that point.

As Mark Twain once said (or at least was credited for), "Never argue with an idiot. Those watching may not be able to tell the difference."

I also looked at the inside and the owner had replaced the cloth seats with leather. The only reason I knew it was an LS was the steering wheel and it didn't have a touch screen.
