1st 5th Gen Camaro 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS
Just purchased a 2010 Camaro 2SS RS IOM With Auto. This is my first 5th gen car, but not new to the Camaro family. I owned:
1984 Z28 305 Auto FRC 1994 V6 Convertible 1969 Camaro SS/RS 396 TH400 Also, previously owned 2004 Corvette Z06 and numerous Chevy trucks from 1938 to 1972 I purchased the car with a K&N CAI, SLP Headers and exhaust, and a custom tune. Just driving it back from the dealership it is already my favorite to drive out of all the cars I have owned. |

Congrats. That's an early car. I'd check to see if it has the R6P code! Chicklets on fenders and looks like no back up sensors in rear bumper!

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

R6P was the option code designated for the early, pre-order cars that some of us bought before you could even sit in one or see the colors in-person. I can't recall exactly but I think there were around 16,000 of them built. No special equipment, just a badge of honor thing. My 2010 was built in August of 09 and was the last week of bumpers without sensors but was late for a R6P, built after many regular production orders. It would be on the trunk options sticker.
