Anybody Have A Black Wrap On The Roof?

My 2022 Cherry Red Tint Coat ZL1 is at shop to have PPF installed and some tint. This is a high end installer. The owner spent some time with me and was telling me PPF has come a long way even in the last 5 years. He was telling me PPF used to come only in clear. Today the PPF comes in colors. He suggested covering the roof in flat or satin black would look good. I do like my stuff to be different but not sure about this. I am also going to have them cover the carbon fiber hood insert in flat clear.

I am thinking about this as well - did you end up getting the roof wrapped?

Similar here. A forum search for roof wrap brings up a number of photos showing the roof-hood-spoiler approach. Seems to look good, and with some colors a gloss black roof actually works really well. To wrap or not wrap the antenna is a place where opinions have varied.

I am thinking of going matte black with Xpel Stealth over it to help with the greater care the matte finish normally requires, but the final price quote for that process may convince me to just stick with satin black...

i just did my hood and thought about doing my roof to match also but meh lol another $170 but then again same issue do i have them remove the antenna and do it also or leave it? lol

Nice but the pics don't show how good it really looks Do you have any from higher up to see the roof better. I've been thinking about it for a while, I did that to my G8GT, but we did the hood and trunk also. I would just do the roof and rear spoiler, maybe some on the hood.

that looks really good i thought about doing my roof/trunk also after i did my trunk but ehh taking care of this matte vinyl shit sucks haha

Is that matte black with stealth over it? Or satin with stealth over it?
